I have had the opportunity to design and develop various websites, both static and dynamic. I have always tried to ensure my work was of the highest possible standard.
Winton Health Foods
This website was a designed and created by a team of two for a local business in bournemouth who wanted to break into the niche market of selling health food products on the internet.
Originally it was to be a simple static site designed to show a few products and advertise their location and the prodicts they had to offer. However during the process of creating the website, the clients decided that they wanted to use the website to promote all their stock and provide the ability for customers to order online from the site. This meant the site soon became a dynamic e-commerce website containing over 1000 products which were stored in a database.
Rent-me Trailers
This site was designed for a company that wanted to show a selection of trailers they had on offer. It contained pictures and information about the trailers and contact details for the company. Unfortunately they decided that advertising on the internet did not work for their business and the website was shut down after a year.
Molley
This was developed for a local singer which wanted to promote his talents to a wider audience and use the website to show his upcoming events. It also provides a means for the public to be able to contact him for bookings. It contains snippets of songs to show his abilities.
2nd Wimbornes Scout Group
This is a website I am currenty working on for the local scout group. When it is finished it will have an admin panel for the leaders. Programmes, pictures, event information and forms will be provided as an alternative to sending out paper forms to parents. The site will be developed using PHP and a database for storing information.
